Post your Job Openings to Twitter and Facebook

With a little know-how, and you can setup an automatic feed of your job openings to social networks.    Please follow this helpful guide on how to post your job openings on Facebook and Twitter.

How to Setup an Automatic Feed to Post Job Openings to Twitter and Facebook

  1. Go to TwitterFeed.com and log into your account
  2. Once signed in, click on the “Create New Feed” button
  3. Enter a name for the feed (ie: Careers at XYZ Company)
  4. Cut and paste the RSS Feed URL, (ie: http://client.hrservicesinc.com/downloads/rss/clients/569.xml), into the RSS Feed box (If desired, you can tweak the advanced settings as to how often you want your jobs refreshed, etc.)
  5. When finished, click the “Continue to Step 2″ button.
  6. In step 2, select “Twitter” from the list of available services
  7. Next, click the “Authenticate” button
  8. Enter your Twitter user name and password, and select the “Allow” button
  9. When finished, select the “Create Service” button
  10. After selecting “Create Service” you should be redirected to the list of available services
  11. Select “Facebook” from the list of available services
  12. Next, click the “Connect” button
  13. Enter your Facebook email and password, and select the “Connect” button
  14. When prompted, select the “Allow Access” and “Allow publishing” buttons to provide twitterfeed with access to your news feed and wall
  15. Once the site has been authenticated, the next step is to choose a Facebook page to publish to. Select the appropriate page from the dropdown. (Please note, you may be required to approve publishing if this is a different page)
  16. When finished, select the “Create Service” button
  17. After selecting “Create Service” you should be redirected to the list of available services. If you are finished adding services, select the “All Done!” button
  18. TwitterFeed will then provide you with a summary of your feed information and a list of the sources that it is posting to. The feed settings will be immediately applied, and new openings will be posted to Twitter and Facebook automatically.
  19. Select the “Go to Dashboard” button to view a summary of your feeds and review their clicks
