The elevator just closed and you’ve got 30 seconds to pitch the random reader on who you are and why they should read your rants.  Go..

Do we really have to assault people in the elevator?  I mean, come on, we’re confined!  People fascinate me and I frequently find myself shaking my head in amazement.  Read on if you’re curious, you might find it interesting.

Name the actor/actress that will portray you in the movie about you.  Why is that a fit?

It’s got to be Audrey Hepburn – I love her characters and the vibrancy she brought to them.  The women she portrayed are fun, quirky and have a great sense of adventure.  If you have an offer for me to try something new, you probably won’t have to ask twice or explain why you want to do it.

My first car was a <blank> and here’s how it defined who I am….

<*Yawn, stretch a little*>  Oh! You asked about my first car.  A Buick Century; it was a hand-me-down from my mother and father.   The car may have been boring but it signified that I am loved and my family cares.  No yawning at that one.

The first car I picked out was candy apple red.  Now there’s your definition!

What is your favorite song, and how does it relate to who you are?

Wow, the pressure!  As long as the artist is good; I enjoy all kinds of music.  I’ve got AC/DC, House of Blues, Santana…(Ok, I’m procrastinating)

One would have to be “In Me” by Casting Crowns because it’s a humble reminder that life is bigger than me and I have help.

The other is “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley because someone had hope that “Every little thing gonna’ be all right”.

If you could trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?

Everybody knows that voice, it reaches in to you.   You’re listening to the radio and out of the brief silence you hear this high baritone croon Roxanne.   Is there any doubt about the artist?   The great thing is that it doesn’t solely define him.  He has transcended the Police and lends his talent to collaborations with so many diverse artists.  He melds with their style but you always know it’s him singing.   Welcome others and stay true to yourself.
