My Intro

The elevator just closed and you’ve got 30 seconds to pitch the random reader on who you are and why they should read your rants.
Since I think of myself as a people person, I would probably look around in the elevator to see if I could start up a quick conversation with anyone that was in there with me. I like to hear other people’s “stories” – whether good or bad because I believe we can all relate on some level.  J

Name the actor/actress that will portray you in the movie about you. Why is that a fit?
I would like to have Meg Ryan play me in a movie.  She seems like she would be a good fit because I am a quirky-hopeless romantic like the characters she is drawn to play in many of her movies.  I like the fact that her characters she typically plays are somewhat “awkward” but always have a huge heart.

My first car was a hand me down, and here’s how it defined who I am.
My first car was a “hand me down” from my parents.  I drove “Bluebell”, as I called it, until it finally quit working the year after I graduated from college. It defined me by saying that I am grateful for all the love and support that my parents have given me over the years.

What is your favorite song, and how does it relate to who you are?
My favorite song is “In your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel.  What girl that was growing up during the 80’s didn’t dream of a guy standing outside of their bedroom window with a huge boom box blaring this song?

If you could trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?
Wow, this is a hard question! The idea of not having a private life, constant camera’s flashing in my face when I am just running an errand, and not being able to make a mistake without the whole world watching – even just for a day – does not sound inviting to me. I like being me; being able to make choices for me and my family instead of taking account the opinions of strangers that claim to know me.   Anyways, I would not want to trade a thing because I already have 2 adorable “fans” that treat me like a celebrity every day when I come home.
