As one of the few, if not the only, applicant tracking system to provide support to candidates, we receive a great deal of interesting feedback. Our dedicated applicant support team often forwards some of the more noteworthy messages to the entire staff. Some elicit a good laugh, some send us to the “drawing board”, and others cause us to pause and consider – wow, we’re good!
One of the standout features that enhance the applicant experience is Live Chat. Imagine applying online and running into an obstacle, say, a screen that is not advancing as it should. Right on the page there is a Live Chat button. Click it, enter your question, your response asks for a Support Code on your page, enter it. Within a few seconds it is discovered that your browser versions is several numbers behind the rest of the world. Wow! Someone responded and helped! Someone cares!
Another difference with the myStaffingPro online experience is that it is “wizard and process-driven”. Would you be more inclined to continue applying online if the information that is requested is actually relevant to the job you are applying to? Wasting time is not fun for anyone, and if you are asked to enter information that you feel is a) irrelevant or b) too much too soon, are you inclined to quit? How about the web form application that has 85 fields to enter on one page? OOPS – your internet access was interrupted.
Here are a few real life examples of some applicant feedback:

There is no question or problem. I just wanted to let you know that your online job application is one of the best I’ve ever filled out. Simple and efficient.
More recently, we had an applicant go so far as to compare myStaffingPro’s online experience to a competitor of ours.

Additional Comments: I just wanted to leave a comment. I was searching for a job on the Midmark website and noticed it is powered by you. It is a great tool. I am very impressed. It is easy to use, it works, and, is very aesthetically pleasing. I could go on and on. Every time I am searching for a job and see ‘powered by Taleo’, I want to write those people and tell them their product needs a lot of help. It actually annoys me while searching for a job. It’s the opposite of your product. It never works right, it is ugly, etc. I hope you can try and persuade their customers to come to you. Maybe I should be writing them also. Have a great day.
There you have it. It’s not an official survey, we don’t have statistics to tout, but we are happy to be able to claim that applicants prefer applying on myStaffingPro’s online application system!
