Last night was the impressive the 2012 North American Candidate Experience Awards Gala. The event, which was held at the Bistro 151 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, celebrated the importance of the candidate experience during the hiring process and recognized companies that deliver an excellent experience. This year, we were honored to be a silver sponsor and support the Talent Board’s commitment to the candidate experience. Reinforcing our focus on the candidate experience, we recently created the white paper “Six Steps to Creating a Positive Application Experience“. In the white paper, our CEO stated:
“For any company, creating a positive, feedback-featured job application process can improve the bottom line – and the brand awareness of the company. Providing a quality job seeker experience is the philosophy behind the work of myStaffingPro“, says CEO Robert Schulte.
GE Retail Finance is one of the early adopters of these practices with myStaffingPro software. “Acknowledgement is one of the first things an applicant should receive when they apply for jobs. On the career section of the website, you can see real employee faces, and learn about a day in the life working for GE,” says Schulte. “We want to make sure that applicants do not fall into that black hole where they don’t know what the status of their application is at any given time.”
Nearly 10 years after our relationship started with GE we are still committed to providing a quality candidate experience. Last night, our client Midmark was recognized for their efforts! We would like to thank the Talent Board for bringing some much needed attention to the importance of the candidate experience and congratulate Midmark on their accomplishment. Well done!
