Onboarding Brings Employees Up to Speed

Onboarding Brings Employees Up To Speed“Ramping up” and “coming up to speed” are great highway expressions that have made their way into the work world. Essentially, onboarding works just like a car entering a highway.

An onboarding system is that ramp. It contains all of the new hire paperwork and information a new hire needs before starting Day 1 on the job. Be sure to comply with applicable wage and hours laws where employees are permitted to complete this process outside of working hours.

The required paperwork can consist of Form I-9, IRS Form W-4, state withholding tax forms, direct deposit authorization, and a voluntary self-identification form that can be completed electronically. The company information can include an Employee Handbook and/or Company Policy Manual.

The information is entered and submitted on a secure, encrypted site with dual authentication. Learn more about how you can automate your onboarding system and register for our free webinar.
